The Cutest Zombie in the World...

It's time to introduce you to a brand new Mukpuddy character... it's ZOMBIE LULU! This is the first in a new series of Zombie Lulu shorts we will be making for the foreseeable future... as long as it proves popular ;) We also wanted to launch it on Halloween (still got a few hours left, haha) so we worked away like crazy the last few days. My daughter, Ilah (6) provided the voice of Lulu. We really hope you enjoy it because we really loved making it (in 2 days, sheesh). CRUMBS: DONE & DUSTED!

So it's been a crazy last few months throwing this series together, we were well and truly thrown in the deep end and literally came up with the entire concept within half an hour and fine tuned it on the fly as we were making the episodes week to week. It's been a complete blur but thankfully we're at a place creatively that we can actually make some of our best stuff under that kind of pressure... so here's the playlist of all 10 episodes from the entire first season, with "the powers that be" being the way they are we have no idea if we'll ever be making these again but we're really proud of these so enjoy and do us a favour and pass them around...

We're making a new show...

Yes you heard that right... unfortunately "the powers that be" have decided not to renew another season of Pocket Protectors but wanted us to come up with something new and this is the "hot mess" we've come up with! Can't give away to much at the moment but rest assured it is pretty strange and a whole lot retarded! Here's a peak at the main character... he's a bread roll!

It's been a wee while so we thought for our first short of the year it would be fun to do a follow up to the 'Baby Bunny' short we made for Easter last year. This time she tries her best to sing Old MacDonald had a Farm ;) Thanks to Ilah for once again being an amazing voice actor for us buffoons. That's a wrap!

Well after months of the hardest work of of career we've finally finished and handed in our original animated Christmas Special! We're really exhausted but super proud of it... it's playing at 6:30 pm on Christmas Eve on TV2 (New Zealand)... will try post a trailer in the coming days so we can give you all a taste of what we've been working on. In the mean time thought we'd chuck up some sketches and process work...

It's A Mukpuddy Christmas!

So it's about time we let you guys know what we'll be making for the rest of the year... last year we submitted this idea for an animated "classic kiwi" Christmas Special to NZ On Air and to our surprise got the funding. It's the biggest project we've worked on so we're excited and a little intimidated but it'll be a fun ride. So it's A New Zealand first and all going to plan it'll be screening on TV2 on Christmas Eve this year!
