Mukbubby!

Two weeks ago something came out of my wife, that something was a baby, and her name is Ilah. She's tiny, pink and absolutely perfect.

It's been a pretty crazy few weeks, coming to grips with my new found fatherly responsibilities and a lot less sleep. But thankfully I work with a supportive bunch of Muks (Uncle Muks now) who have been no less than amazingly patient while I disappeared from the animation world for a two weeks.

Anyway, I'd like to introduce the first Mukbubby. Ilah Cooper

Aint she cute!

More paintings...

Hello Alex here again, me and my wife sell our toys at a craftfair every couple of months and this time I decided to do some small paintings and see if they'd sell, I thought it was a good idea, but no one brought any so, I guess, that's egg on my face. Oh well maybe next time!

Sum paintings I dun...

Yay, it's our first proper post since getting back from our trip to the states!! Funnily enough it was something I wanted to post before the trip but ran out of time... anyways, about a week before we left me and my wife had an exhibition at our buddies gallery, to help raise some funds for our trip! It was only my second time exhibiting work in a gallery so I was pretty nervous but it all went really well and we sold a bunch of stuff on opening night so we were really happy with that!!

My theme was one I've wanted to paint for a while and that is, my cat , he's actually my wifes but he's adopted me as his dad! (see below) ...

basically he's really cool and my ideas came from when he's in a deep sleep he'll have these dreams where he twitches and makes heaps of funny noises, so I've always wanted to know what he's dreaming about, so I decided to paint his dreams!!

And here's a peek at what the place looked like on opening night, in this shot I'm in the background getting interveiwed by a local music channel... weird!!

The Muks in Vegas!!

Well the end of our crazy trip has arrived, but we spent the last few days in Vegas - as if the rest of the trip hadn't already made us exhausted. This town is MENTAL!!!
Leaving Burbank we weren't sure if we'd even be able to fit all the stuff we'd bought in the rental car...

Driving through the desert was one of the coolest things we did on the whole trip...

So to sum up, we had an amazing time, met up with heaps of awesome people and bought heaps of cool stuff!! If we met you on our travels, please stay in touch and if we didn't, we'll see ya next time!!
