Sparkle Friends Ep9: Sparkle Show

Hey folks,

Well here's episode 9 of Sparkle Friends. Getting close to the end now. The series has actually finished on New Zealand TV a few weeks ago. Feedback has been great, kids seem to love the show, so that's good news for us. This episode in particular seemed to sit well with the kids, which made us happy, as it was quite a bit different from previous episodes.

New Muk Site

Hey folks,

I suspect most of you are at the San Diego comic con this weekend.....so yeah.....we're not, and we're extremely jelous! Hope those of you who are going have a great time, we enjoyed it last year, and really hope to go next year. Tis a long way from New Zealand, and many many mulahs.

Anyway, on to the good stuff.....

We've finally finished our brand new site, we've been meaning to redesign it for some time, but only now have we had a chance to do it, plus with Jeremy joining the Muk team, it was an awesome chance for a fresh start.

The idea was to make it an extremely simple and easy to navigate site, but at the same time we wanted to keep it fun and cartoony. Hopefully we pulled it off.

To my surprise I found out that I got a plug on Drawn, I find this blog to be one of the best ways for me to find inspiration, they've featured so many cool artists, and I'm really stoked to be a part of that. So a big thanks to the peeps over at Drawn, you guys do a fantastic job!

here's episode 7 of Sparkle Friends for your viewing pleasure. This is by far the most......ummmm......insane ep we've made. I even got to record my first big 80's hit for the soundtrack.

Some sketches...

Heres some sketches from Episode 6 of "Sparkle Friends". Seeing as we've got a cast of 6 regular characters, the one thing I look forward to on this show is designing new characters, so when the idea came up to put a Gunge monster in the episode we were all pretty excited at what the outcome would be. It's kinda hard with a week turn around and such a small team, to do some decent character desgn or development, but I gave it my best and here are some of the results.....
